How to solve problems with payment of toll
In case motorists are unable to pay the toll charge (in automatic or manual lanes), a non-payment report will be issued. If you are in an automatic lane you will be issued a 'transit statement at the self-service station', if you are in a manned lane you will be issued a 'non-payment' form. Both documents will state the number and the amount of the unpaid toll charge. Outstanding toll charges must be paid no later than 15 days after the date of the transit.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Outstanding toll charges shall be paid, without surcharges, no later than 15 days after the date of the transit. Failure to do so will result in the addition of the administrative charge (art. 176, paragraph 11-bis, new Italian Highway Code).
Payment can be made:
- on-line in the Services area - Payments section of this website www.infoviaggiando.it ;
- at an Customer Service Centre located at the exit stations of Palmanova, Latisana, Venezia Est and at the service area of Duino Sud;
- at one of the following toll stations, only at manned lanes: Trieste-Lisert, Redipuglia, Villesse, Palmanova, Udine Sud, S. Giorgio di Nogaro, Latisana, Portogruaro, S. Stino di Livenza, Cessalto, S. Donà di Piave, Meolo - Roncade, Venezia Est, Cordignano, Godega di Sant'Urbano;
- by postal payment slip

to Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A., indicating the reason for payment, the vehicle registration number and the non-payment number found on the form or receipt;

Bank transfer to Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A., indicating as the reason for payment the vehicle registration number and the non-payment number found on the form or transit statement;
In case the outstanding charge is not settled, a debt collection procedure shall be undertaken and all expenses shall be charged to the debtor (art. 373 of the new Highway Code Regulation).
Customer without ticket.
In case the Client has not been able to return the entry ticket, because it is lost or not collected, the toll will be calculated according to the law (art. 176/16 Highway Code) from the farthest entry station.
However, if the Client has proof indicating the actual entry station, (a proof or evidence can be also considered a receipt issued in a store/shop or bar before you entered the highway) he/she is entitled to pay the relative toll.
As regards non‐payment reports issued on our network, Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A. reserves the right to accept a "Toll gate entry Point Self Certification form" ‐ attached in PDF ‐ (pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/2000) issued by the entry toll station and to verify the data contained therein.
The self‐certification form shall be filled in, signed and sent to Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A., by e‐mail (servizioclienti@autostradealtoadriatico.it). Following adequate verifications, Società Autostrade Alto Adriatico S.p.A. will send the recalculated toll amount from the certified entry station or the cancellation of the Unpaid Toll Ticket.
